Epstein – a British viewpoint.
This story is about a monstrous individual; even more frightening, it’s also a demonstration of how the modern world really works. Because Epstein didn’t just “get away with it” for years, he got away with it because the right people let him.
Ordinary criminals hide, but not Epstein. He hosted. He collected powerful people the way other men collect vintage wine, and they went along with it. They were not forced, or tricked, but they were offered what the wealthy love most: access.

Britain prefers to treat the Epstein affair as an American circus, in that land of oversized egos, private jets and even bigger court settlements. And yet, Britain is in this story too. Not as a footnote. Not as an awkward cameo. Right there, bang slam in the middle of it.
A complete ponce of a bloody British prince has been mired in this dirt for years. Fortunately, Andrew is now an ex-prince. But the fact that this was ever treated as “unfortunate” rather than “outrageous” tells you everything you need to know about how class still operates in my country. Andrew knew if you’re important enough, scandal isn’t something you face. It’s something you manage.
In Britain, we prefer them handled like an embarrassing relative: quietly ushered into a side room, offered a cuppa, and never mentioned again. That instinct — for discretion, reputation, and “not making a fuss” — is not harmless. It is exactly the sort of cultural reflex on which predators thrive.
If my co-writers Dean and Sergey, and I, had each stolen a Mars bar, we would be in handcuffs before the kettle had even boiled. But Andrew? He waddles around like what he’s been involved in is merely a misunderstanding about a parking ticket.
And here’s the bitter punchline, and deep down, we all know it. If Epstein had been poor, he’d have been done in a week. If his victims had been wealthy, he’d have been done in a day. But he had money. They didn’t. One law for them, another law for the rest of us.
The Americans shout about it, the French shrug, and Britain does what it always does: looks at its shoes and hopes nobody mentions it over dinner.
Epstein – an American viewpoint…

Jeffery Epstein has taught me a lot about my home country that I didn’t really want to admit. I don’t put much faith in conspiracy theories but I now admit I was wrong. There is no justice if you’re rich enough.
The weird thing is nobody says Trump broke any laws. He’s accused of nothing but damn, he acts guilty as hell. Seriously, he’s his own worst enemy. The people around him make him look even worse by trying to shut everything down. Trump is mentioned 38,000 times in these files and pretends he wasn’t a close friend. What’s worse, when Donald does talk about his relationship with Jeffery, he lies in a way that’s easily proven false. Video tapes are spliced together showing Trump contradicting himself with his own words. It looks bad.

Clearly this is a cover-up and it’s not going to end well. In my mind, the big question is: “What are we covering up?” It’s entirely possible that Trump himself is the only person who knows what’s actually going on. It doesn’t seem all that complicated – I can only think of three reasons for the delay.
- It’s the Tech Bros! These may be the most powerful men on earth and they have made it worth Trump’s while to make this all go away. His wealth has increased by three billion dollars in less than a year. Yeah, nothing suspicious there.
- It’s Donald looking out for Donald. Author Michael Wolff says Epstein showed him a picture of Trump with a young, topless girl sitting on his lap. If true and that image was to ever become public, I imagine it would end Trump’s administration AND the Republican Party.
- Nothing to see here, folks! This is the official position of the US Government. As time goes on, this appears increasingly unlikely to the point that it’s almost silly.
Again, the crazy part is nobody says Donald himself has done anything wrong. Trump and his people were the ones keeping this entire story alive with that ham-handed cover-up. It’s too late now.
Epstein – a Russian viewpoint

Here’s the funny thing. According to Google Trends in February, Russians have tripled their search for… Einstein. The most popular prompts are ‘Who is Jeffrey Einstein?’, ‘Einstein island,’ and ‘Why is Einstein?’
This pretty much explains all that Russians know about the convicted sex criminal Jeffrey Epstein. Most people have never heard about him before and couldn’t recall his name correctly.
I, personally, really don’t care about him and his deeds. There’s nothing new to me about his actions. The rich of the world have easy access to women, be it America, Russia, or some African country.
The only difference is that in America such people can be prosecuted – and this is exactly what happened to Jeffrey Epstein.

I just can’t imagine that in Russia, a Russian Jeffrey Epstein could be sued by a woman or anybody else. Such people have close and shady ties with authorities and are protected by them. Not officially, of course. It is all done mob-style.
But if a woman would try to go public in Russia in such a scenario, she would have been bribed to keep silent. Maybe the bribery option would be skipped and she would have been beaten up or killed. Like, jumping from the window in an apartment building.
Getting back to Epstein – from what I see, though I don’t follow it attentively, I think Democrats, like Bill Clinton, are more engaged in this situation than Trump.
This is the funniest thing, to me. The liberal press goes mad on Trump, but real leads point to a different direction…
